About UniSmarter

What is UniSmarter?

UniSmarter is a unique online program providing multiple global pathways to undergraduate and postgraduate universities degrees. The program has been co-developed in partnership with leading overseas institutions specifically for students who want to start their international studies online. UniSmarter is part of Navitas, a leading global education provider that has helped generations of learners transform their lives through education. They create life-changing opportunities to learn by delivering an extensive range of education services to over 70,000 aspirational students across their global network each year.

What programs does UniSmarter offer?

UniSmarter offers modules for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The Undergraduate modules are recognised for entry and advanced standing into degrees in IT, Business and Commerce. The Masters Qualifying Pathway provides entry into a range of Postgraduate degrees in Business, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management and International Relations. 

How many hours a week of study?

You will be expected to study approximately 15 hours a week per module. This includes a combination of self learning, group classes and 1:1 tutoring.

How many subjects will I study?

You can study 1-2 modules per study period.

Can I get an offer for the university before I start my UniSmarter program?

Yes, you will receive a conditional offer to the overseas institution of your choice, subject to meeting academic entry conditions. If you have not yet decided on your future study plans you can wait until completion of your UniSmarter modules.

Do I need a student visa?

No, you don’t need a visa to study the UniSmarter program. However, you will need a visa for your overseas education component. For more information on applying to study overseas, please contact our admissions team at admissions@unismarter.com


Applying

How do I make an application?

You can apply today using our online application form. Alternatively, you can apply by filling out a printed application form and emailing it, along with your supporting documents, to admissions@unismarter.com.

If your application is successful, you will receive your Letter of Offer via email explaining the modules you have been offered, the fees payable, conditions to be met (if any) and the module commencement date.

In order to secure your place, we need to receive your signed Letter of Offer and tuition fees.

What is required as part of my application?
  • Academic results (translated into English if applicable)
  • English test results (if you have)
  • Passport identification page
  • If you are applying for Masters Qualifying Program, you will need to provide a CV
Do I need to take an English test?

Yes, you will need to meet the prescribed English requirement, and this can be done by taking an external test or UniSmarter can help you take an online free test. If you would like to progress to a university outside of India, you will need to take an IELTS test for visa purposes and entrance to university.


Finance

How do I make my tuition payment?

You can pay your fees by online funds transfer through NEFT and IMPS mode or through any of UPI payment apps. Please state your Student ID and name in English to the bank for the transfer document, then send the transfer receipt by email to admissions@unismarter.com.

What are the tuition fees?

A 10% discount will be applied for students who pay for 4 modules upfront.

Undergraduate pathway fees are INR 81,000 + GST (18%) per module.

Masters Qualifying Program fees are INR 99,000 + GST (18%) per module.

Can I make payments in instalments?

No, fees are required to be paid upfront in full.


Enrolling and studying

Who can I contact if I have any concerns with my studies?

UniSmarter offers personalised one-to-one academic tutoring to each student to ensure your specific learning needs are addressed.  Your online facilitators are available to you for one-to-one sessions where you can discuss academic concepts, solve questions or get guidance on assignments. Online facilitators are available 7 days a week over phone, text, chat or email. In case of non-academic matters such as module planning, policy matters, progressing to overseas university or general well-being, you can reach out to your assigned student success advisor.

I have never studied online, what support is provided?

The UniSmarter program is designed specifically for first time online learners while preserving the academic rigour needed to meet overseas university standards. The program blends online interactive content with high levels of academic engagement in small group and one-to-one settings. This way you have the flexibility to set your own study routine and at the same time engage with a highly experienced teaching team and your classmates on concepts and learning tasks.
